I have seen so many ads of different home made arcade machines but the new Steampunk Arcade Machine is cool. Steampunk fan Dough Haffner has created one of the coolest arcade cabinets i.e. Arcade Machine.

It would be interesting to combine all that into a MAME (Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator) cabinet to play video games and use as a jukebox. This fully-functional cabinet combines some of the Victorian elements of steampunk with electrical mad-scientist designs from the Frankenstein lab.

Arcade cabinets are just cool and there is no way around that. It plays music, plays games and it is equipped with Edison electric light, so you please never try to use a match on it.

The arcade cabinet is still under progress but I hope it will be up for sale when it is finished.

I am looking for a light weight laptop for myself so that I can carry it easily. But my friend had asked me if I can wait till October 18 as HP’s new laptop ENVY 13 will hits the streets on October 18. This new HP Envy 13 boasts the brightest display in its class.

But I can not go with someone’s suggestion and can’t get impress by the product until I get all the details about it. So, there are following details of it which I managed to get:

•    Appears to be very slim and a great looking notebook computer

•    The keyboard is fine and comfortable, but has a bit of a loose and pushover feel to the key action. It is not cheap but not best-in-class, really!

•    Boot time is pretty snappy with the quick boot Envy “Instant-On Solution” Linux.

•    It has a full Core 2 Duo processor inside and a real feeling of heft and thickness compared to other laptops in “thin and light” land. The Envy 13 has the same external Ethernet dongle of the Envy 133.

Pricing and availability:

The HP Envy 13 is expected to be available in the United States on Oct. 18 with a starting price of $1,699 respectively.

I think I should wait till October.

As I have told you my dad has gifted me Titan Nebula and same day he has gifted Rado watch to my brother. Now, let me know that weather my gift is good or my bro’s gift.

Yipee…in the awesome festive season of Durga Pooja and Eid, Hero Honda has revealed its new version Karizma ZMR. This new power bike’s price will be around Rs. 91k INR and will be available in Indian’s market at the end of the September 2009.

I think this new Karizma ZMR can give competition to pulsar 220 DTSi as its main feature is the programmable fuel injection PGM-Fi technology that supports for better fuel usage so that it can result in higher top speeds and more efficiency.

The fit as well as finish is awesome, it don’t consists panel gaps and paint quality is quite good. The rear view mirrors have been mounted on the front fairing which gives Karizma ZMR a very aggressive look if you viewed from front. But if you view the bike from side, the main problem is that the front does not gel with the slim looking rear.

New Karizma ZMR Fi is with the engine power of 225 cc but it has been modified by Hero Honda engineers, so now it gets fuel injection of 17.6 Bhp at 7000 rpm which is up by 0.6 Bhp and its maximum torque has been increased by .15 Nm which is now 18.35 Nm at 6000 rpm.

I am still expecting much more torque and power from the altered Fuel Injected engine of Karizma ZMR. Let’s see if it can touch atleast around 20 Bhp with 21-23 Nm torque.

Yesterday! I came to know from my friend that Archos had teased an Android-based phone
when it launched the new Archos 5 Internet Tablet.

Complete details of the smartphone are not clear, but the ARCHOS Phone Tablet will sport an 854 x 480 resolution, a 4.3-inch touchscreen means slightly smaller, but slightly higher resolution, than the Archos 5 and run on a 1GHz Cortex processor in 10mm thick titanium casing with looks like a front-facing camera and that is less than half an inch.

The Archos Phone Tablet is a 3.5G-enabled version of the Archos 5 that adds HSUPA/ HSDPA connectivity to the PMP’s existing Bluetooth and WiFi b/g/n. It also has its PMP-sibling’s slender build and a brief rear glimpse showed a camera lens.

I know what you are expecting about its internal memory. Well! Archos will offer you the same 16GB, 32GB and 64GB flash versions as the Archos 5. It has the potential as a MID/Smartphone crossover device.

There are number of devices in the market but the upcoming Archos 5 Internet Tablet has a microphone and voice capabilities, only able to make calls using VoIP over Wi-Fi. Let’s hope the Archos Phone Tablet will be available through mobile carriers.
