Posted by Yogesh On January - 28 - 2010

Rolex WatchesEverybody is asking what’s new in the market of luxurious watches. So, latest thing for all luxurious watches lovers is a custom leopard print diamond and sapphire Cosmograph Daytona titled as “The World’s Prettiest Rolex” which is scandalous and is up for sale via global online luxury marketplace JamesList for $46,000.

The luxury timepiece has never been worn and is being offered for grabs in glitzy Miami Beach. This special watch has 48 diamonds on the end pieces, an 18k yellow gold case with 36 baguette cognac sapphires and a leopard print dial festooned with another eight diamonds.

The aesthetic travesty is more unfortunate as many to be Rolex’s most attractive model considered the Daytona in classic stainless steel. The Daytona is designed as the ultimate timing tool for endurance races and is made to allow the driver to map his course times accurately and determine how he must drive in order to achieve victory. Priced at $46,000.

ASUS DR-950 e-reader to be released in April in UK

Posted by Isha Farhad On January - 27 - 2010

Good news for UK is that the Asus DR-950 e-reader with it outing photos has just outed itself. It is coming to the UK soon with a price tag in the range of £250 or about $354.

Asus-d-950The Asus DR-950 e-reader is the 9-inch E Ink, touchscreen reading device that is due out for buyers in April. We have confirmed this. ASUS told at Electric Pig that it is currently shopping around for content partners, but with Wi-Fi and 3G, 2 or 4GB or internal storage, this is one well specked digital tome they would be fools to turn down unless they are waiting on the colour version due at the end of the year.  Its price would be in the range of £250 or about $354. For the Asus DR-950 e-reader, Asus has not set a definite RRP but told us that it was aiming in the region of £250, including VAT.

They are preferable to import a Kindle DX, but we will withold judgment until we get a full hands-on.

Please have a look at the flesh photo and stay connected with us for more details.

Kitchen Sink Cadillac has royal design

Posted by Kamleshwar Bhatt On January - 27 - 2010

CadillacThe collector-car auctions began last week in Arizona, among the 2,500 vintage vehicles offered there were one-off design, racecars that soldiered through international events and automobiles once owned by celebrities. But I can say that there was nothing else like the Maharani Special.

It was built by General Motors for its 1956 Motorama Show, the Maharani goes under the hammer at RM’s Automobiles of Arizona which is more commonly known among the collectors as the Kitchen Sink Cadillac.

It is an artifact with cardboard tags that enlivens the ’50s era, dating to when the vehicle was built, still it attached to many wiring harnesses. But, it is the interior ones left marveling at. The space once devoted to the front passenger seat is replaced by an array of culinary appliances, including a refrigerator, toaster, cutlery holder, hot plate and of course, a kitchen sink; not to forget that various gadgets are not in operational condition since they have not been used in decades.

We don’t know what kept the Maharani from going under the crusher all these years, but for sure, it is all set to make you feel like a king between the price tag of $150,000 to $200,000.

Atmos 566 Clock with envious looks attracts you

Posted by Yogesh On January - 27 - 2010

Atmos 566This Atmos 566 Clock really attracts me as I can not count the number of its outstanding looks. This Jaeger-LeCoultre Atmos 566 Clock is designed by Marc Newson and there is no watch to compare with it.

The watch is driven by the energy supplied by infinitely small successive changes in temperature. This is all because of the hermetically sealed capsule that contains a gaseous mixture and initially mercury, that dilates when the temperature rises and contracts when it drops. But the mechanism is very complex to explain, the language of time is easier to understand through its pure design which exalts its inherent complexity. It is made from clear or blue Baccarat crystal and telling the time it also displays a current sky map.

Jaeger-LeCoultre combining design, art and manufacturing expertise have just offered 76 units of the masterpiece. Only 76 of the Atmos 566s are available there. About the price tag, the most basic Atmos start from $2600 and extends the range to almost $70,600.

I have really become a fan of jaeager lecoultre watches.

Is Sony’s ‘kill switch’ a myth or rumor?

Posted by Isha Farhad On January - 23 - 2010

Sony-killswitchCould there be something inside your Sony TV programmed or laptop to break the device when the warranty expires? It may sound as a conspiracy theory not far off those involving the mysterious deaths of engineers, but it is a theory that continues to persist to some degree in Japan and seems to have grown even in recent years.

Telegraph.co.uk reports: the belief in a “kill switch” or secret timer has been around for the nearly 20 years or so, but it took on some newfound momentum amid the rash of Sony laptop battery failures, that prompted some Sony execs to deny publicly that such a switch exists.

Apparently, the kill switch is not completely pervasive though, as the PlayStation 3 is “exempt,” thereby explaining its considerable success in Japan although there is some talk that is because it is a Trojan horse for the next big scheme of Sony: mind control disguised as 3D glasses.

duaLink chargerI think duaLink cable would solve the problems and would save the precious time of many iphones users as it charges two iphones on one USB port without having any problem.

The duaLink cable for iPhone and iPod includes its own miniature USB hub, two iPod connectors on one end and a single USB connector on the other end. If the charging or syncing multiple devices from the same USB port has not blown your mind, the company has been enough to place the whole shebang in a housing that seems to be a little more durable than the stock Apple cable.

Description of DuaLink:

•    9 inches long
•    Charge and sync an iPod and iPhone with one USB port on your Mac or Windows PC
•    Contains a custom USB hub to coordinate connecting, charging and syncing
•    Charge two iPods or iPhones from a single wall or automobile USB charge adapter
