Hero Honda Hunk launched by Hero Honda Motors India Ltd in October, 2007, is a 150 cc premium bike. It is available in two variants-kick start and self start.
The new bike is the fourth launch in the premium segment after 225 cc Karizma, 150 cc Achiever and 156 cc CBZ Extreme. Hunk carries muscular styling with big tank shrouds, robust looks, telescopic fork suspension, 5 spoke black alloy wheels and new Gas Reservoir Suspension at rear. It is powered with 150cc engine that generates 14.4Ps at 8500rpm of power and 12.8Nm of Torque.
The aim with the launch of Hero Honda Hunk is to make its premium position in this segment. With the launch of Hunk, Pawan Munjal, Managing Director and CEO, HHML, had given the statement that “The Hunk is our tribute to the Youth of India today: confident and ready to take on the world”. It personifies the fighting spirit and resilience of youngsters, those who are making a mark for themselves in their chosen fields of vocation.
