Yipee…in the awesome festive season of Durga Pooja and Eid, Hero Honda has revealed its new version Karizma ZMR. This new power bike’s price will be around Rs. 91k INR and will be available in Indian’s market at the end of the September 2009.
I think this new Karizma ZMR can give competition to pulsar 220 DTSi as its main feature is the programmable fuel injection PGM-Fi technology that supports for better fuel usage so that it can result in higher top speeds and more efficiency.
Karizma ZMR’s design Features:

• Split Clip on Handle Bars
• New Rear Mud Guard
• New Graphics
• Mirrors Mounted on the Fairing
• Slightly Re-profiled Body Work
• New Headlamp and Tail Lamp which is now LED
• Turn Indicators Mounted on Front Fairing
The fit as well as finish is awesome, it don’t consists panel gaps and paint quality is quite good. The rear view mirrors have been mounted on the front fairing which gives Karizma ZMR a very aggressive look if you viewed from front. But if you view the bike from side, the main problem is that the front does not gel with the slim looking rear.
New Karizma ZMR Fi is with the engine power of 225 cc but it has been modified by Hero Honda engineers, so now it gets fuel injection of 17.6 Bhp at 7000 rpm which is up by 0.6 Bhp and its maximum torque has been increased by .15 Nm which is now 18.35 Nm at 6000 rpm.
I am still expecting much more torque and power from the altered Fuel Injected engine of Karizma ZMR. Let’s see if it can touch atleast around 20 Bhp with 21-23 Nm torque.
