Mini Ferrari F40 gives your child an early chance in F1

If you are going to buy  a MG “Barbie & Ken” car in $25,000, then I would suggest you to spend that money in buying a children’s size 1992 Ferrari F40, instead. The design is not quite as timeless as that of the Barbie car, but who cares? Mini Ferrari F40 is  Powered by an 80 cc Honda motor, can accommodate two kids with restricted weight and height. So not quite in the same league as its parent model but maybe that’s all for the best. The car was made in Germany in tribute of the first Ferrari dealership opening in post-Cold war Moscow.

The car is available for $25,000.

Replica of the Ferrari, ‘Modena Spyder’ is up for sale

Posted by Kamleshwar Bhatt On February - 9 - 2010

Modena SpyderIt may be correct if I say that flaunting something like the 1961 Ferrari 250 GT California Spyder would not be possible. That’s why the replica of the 1961 Ferrari 250 GT California Spyder, “Modena Spyder” was made.

It got sued by Ferrari after it was featured in the 1986 classic movie “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off”. But, this rare and spectacular 1960 Ferrari 250 GT reproduction of the short wheel base California Spyder was completed in 1991 by Modena which represents a unique chance to acquire what is becoming the most sought after 250 GT California Spyder replicas because of its limited production as a Modena.

Over the last year, this well maintained Spyder has been treated to a unique frame-on restoration and shows just 41,496 miles on the odometer. The original engine has been replaced with a new Ford Motorsports full-roller 302 V8 with an equally brand new 8 stack Inglese 48mm induction system and with the E303 Camshaft – topped off. Except these unique specifications, there is no denying that it is an immediate hit with enthusiasts. Price tag is $179,000.

Ferrari P540

You would love your latest car to make a different experience and that it is a reflection of your desire and passions also but you might have thought that it is not possible to have such a car. The customer, Edward Walson who is a son of John Walson and the inventor of cable TV, was inspired by the special Fantuzzi-designed Ferrari built specifically for the Fellini section Toby Dammit of the three-chapter 1968 film Histoires Extraordinaires. He just parked his P540 Superfast Aperta that was essentially designed by the client himself.

All thanks to the Ferrari Special Projects program. It took around 14 months to complete the open-top P540 Superfast Aperta for proving the customer satisfaction to the fullest.

In 2008, Walson approached Ferrari and made a comment that he had always dreamed of designing sports cars and when he saw this film then he took a decision that one day he would have ‘his’ Ferrari. It took just 14 months from commission to testing at Fiorano. This P540 Superfast Aperta weighs an extra 20kg; he gave thanks mainly to the extensive use of carbonfibre.

At Fiorano, Walson took delivery and delighted with his commission, said This is the most special Christmas present of my life.”

So, would you like to own your dream car?

The Ferrari F430, a sports car is produced by the Italian automaker Ferrari from 2004 to 2009. The Ferrari F430 with plush crocodile leather interiors that can never go wrong. Oh god! The whole interior from the dashboard to the roll bars have been decked up in the crocodile leather. Believe me I have no idea who is responsible for this wonderful customization or the car owner.

The F430 Features includes:

•    The first application of Ferrari’s manettino steering wheel-mounted control knob
•    The E-Diff, a computer-controlled limited slip differential
•    You can select from five different settings which modify the vehicle’s ESP system, transmission behavior, “Skyhook” electronic suspension, E-Diff and throttle response.
•    Released with exclusive Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3 EMT tires that have run-flat capability, a striking V-shaped tread design and OneTRED technology

The feature is similar to Land Rover’s “Terrain Response” system.

Ferrari 430’s Brakes

The F430’s brakes were designed in close collaboration with Brembo that results a new cast-iron alloy for the discs. This new alloy has molybdenum that has better heat dissipation performance. Its brakes show not only brilliant performance but also a longer lifespan. These brakes will not fade even after 300-360 laps at their test track.

I hope now you will also become one of the fans of Ferrari 430. Good!

Enzo Ferrari: The world’s Fastest Car

Ferrari raced cars were for a small automobile company in Milan after World War I. In 1920 it became a racing-car for the Alfa Romeo Company. In 1939 Ferrari severed his team’s connection with Alfa Romeo but the firm did not manufacture his first racing cars until 1946 i.e after World War II. The luxury sports cars the firm built earned a similar reputation for speed and precise handling. The firm’s cars soon became known for their handcrafted quality and formidable speed. Ferrari’s racers and sports cars won many Grand Prix races and manufacturers’ championships.
The Enzo Ferrari is a 12 cylinder mid-engine berlinetta car named after the company’s founder, Enzo Ferrari. It is one of the most powerful naturally aspirated production cars. It was built in 2002 using One technology, such as F1-style sequential shift transmission, a carbon-fibre body, and Carbon fibre-reinforced Silicon Carbide ceramic composite disc brakes. Also used technologies not allowed in F1 such as active aerodynamics and traction control. After a downforce of 775 kg (1,709 lb) is reached at 348.8 km/h (217 mph) the rear wing is actuated by computer to maintain that downforce.
