Honda S2000

Well! I think everybody has a dream to travel in an open car atleast once in their life. I wish too. But S2000 CR of Honda is not only an open car; it’s a “Club Racer” with a quicker steering ratio, a firmer suspension and fully functional rear and front spoilers that have been designed to connect road, vehicle and driver. Therefore, this is something very attractive.

The CR draws proudly upon the S2000’s racing heritage and delivers more its sheer performance. Its performance with its lower weight is really amazing. Drivers rave about its braking, cornering and acceleration. There are options like air conditioning and the audio system to accomplish this. A tire-repair kit has replaced the spare tire.

Standard Features of S2000 CR:

•    Stiffer front and rear stabilization bars
•    Track-Oriented Suspension
•    Firmer springs and dampers
•    Fully functional aerodynamic front and rear wing spoilers
•    Quicker steering ratio
•    Bridgestone Potenza RE070 tires
•    Larger rear P255/40 R17 tires
•    All-new 17″ dark gray 5-spoke alloy wheels
•    Yellow-stitched seats, shift boot and steering wheel
•    Yellow and black fabric
•    Spherical aluminum shift knob
•    Sport-tuned exhaust silencer
•    Body-colored roll-bar cowlings
•    Removable aluminum hardtop

Performance Features:

•    Slalom speed 71mph
•    Coefficient of lift reduced approximately 70% over original S2000
•    Skidpad pulls .95G
•    Over 2-seconds per lap faster around Japan’s Tsukuba Raceway than the original S2000

Standard Safety Features:

The anti-lock braking system helps you to maintain steering control during hard stops, Vehicle Stability Assist™ and the power-assisted 4-wheel disc brakes with traction control add a further measure of stopping power and sure-footedness. The Tire Pressure Monitoring System monitors the pressure in all four tires and also it alerts the driver if pressure in any tire becomes low. The S2000 offers other protection as it has side-impact door beams and other body reinforcements to side sills, door pads and floor of the cockpit.

So, all these special features of S2000 make it a true Competitor.

Fast and Furious Honda Fury is On the Road Now!!

Posted by Yogesh Kumar On July - 3 - 2009
Inspite of being too much competitive and difficult market of custom bikes, a new Honda Fury has launched in 2009. The Fury’s quite a departure for Honda, courting the hi-dollar new-style chopper scene that has gone from strength-to-strength over the last few years.
Honda Fury’s look is so different and so attractive that it makes you crazy to look towards it atleast once when it is running on the road. Its body and look will change your opinion for other bikes. It has a bold style, distinguished by the front 21-inch wheel and the rear wheel at 200mm. The twin cylinder, V engine at 52° is a 1300cc, the bike has a front wheel disc brake at 336mm, and a real wheel disc at 296mm and three valve engine with electronic ignition.
Users of Honda’s cruiser models will be happy with spy shots of Honda Fury which come from the Solomoto30 site.
The bike was in development stage for a while, with the first shots of the bike on the desert roads of Arizona dating back to 2003. The engine is an air cooled twin cylinder between 1,300cc and 2,000cc, similar to the VTX series. The chassis would be a double cradle in steel with a rigid rear suspension, final chain transmission and front disc brake with a sports caliper.
The Fury is a machine that delivers a total riding experience and radiates attitude, approaching the outer limits of motorcycling.
Only the Fury is able to open the door to the most extreme level of custom looks. But when you’re rolling, the Fury experience is all about that special bond between machine and rider. At 1808.5mm, the Fury has the longest wheelbase of any production motorcycle. The Honda Fury is a gorgeous, sporty and resembles a customized chopper.
So, we are very sure that once you look at the Fury, you would definitely have this Motorcycle next time at your home.

Jazz Honda the first Super hatchback car for India

jazz-001

The Honda Jazz is a popular hatchback car, currently sold in Europe, Japan, Indonesia and Thailand. According to Masahiro Takadegawa, president and CEO of Honda SIEL cars, the Jazz is the most probable candidate to fill the small car space in India.

Once a small car like the Jazz enters the Indian automobile market, Honda would have a car in every category. The pricing in the Indian market would be tricky, as the Jazz has to be profitable for Honda, as well as stay reasonably below the Honda City to ensure it doesn’t cannibalise the low end Honda City cars.

Many people who have been bugged by the beauty of Honda cars and could not afford one so far due to high starting point are now rejoicing.

They said that they could not go for a premium car like Hoda City, but now with Jazz in the market they can dream of owning a Honda car.

Honda’s second generation Jazz’s has all:

  1. Appealing packaging
  2. Stylish exteriors
  3. Excellent fuel efficiency
  4. Space with good head and leg room
  5. Great performance

You may fall in love with Jazz at first sight. Get inside, it can comfortably seat five adults with their luggage. An intelligent dual and sequential ignition system (I-DSI) has been used. This puts two spark plugs in every cylinder, which betters fuel combustion and decreases emission.

It is capable of returning a fuel efficiency of 16.1 kmpl, which is confirmed from ARAI test data. The 1.2 i-VTEC engine of Jazz met the Euro IV emission norms and is E10 compatible like other Honda engines.

It shares the seats with accord and its steering wheel resembles civic. It is stylish and embellish typical Honda design – sharp lines and central bonnet ridge. Honda Jazz sharp headlamps supplements the steeply raked windscreen but the front grille resembles the CR-V. Alloy wheels and ellipsoidal glass area decorates the Jazz side.

There are just three trim levels in Jazz:  the S, SE and Sport SE. In S models, you will get power steering, electric front windows and twin airbags. Move one level up, you’ll get alloys, CD player, ABS and air-conditioning in the SE model. The top SE Sport model has nothing more than others but it offers front fog lights and subtly racier looks.

So, let see will Indian consumers do salsa after the launch of Jazz in 2009? Wait and watch!
