ipad-moJust answers the following question: if you are coveting an iPad but not ready to pay full price? If you are living in Austria and do not mind committing to a two-year contract then Hutchison’s got you covered.

The carrier is offering you a 333 Euro or approx US $455 and there is discount if you sign up for a 29.90 Euro, 5GB monthly data contract. The news is really great but frankly I still do not know how much it is gonna cost outside of the US, the foreign sites still list American prices.

The other catch is that instead of getting the integrated 3G version, you are getting a Huawei i-Mo 3G modem to create a personal WiFi cloud with the iPad. It is still quite the deal which is the short-term, at any rate.

No words are available on when Apple’s device will hit Austria, but I imagining that they would not set up such an offer without a short-term plan.

duaLink chargerI think duaLink cable would solve the problems and would save the precious time of many iphones users as it charges two iphones on one USB port without having any problem.

The duaLink cable for iPhone and iPod includes its own miniature USB hub, two iPod connectors on one end and a single USB connector on the other end. If the charging or syncing multiple devices from the same USB port has not blown your mind, the company has been enough to place the whole shebang in a housing that seems to be a little more durable than the stock Apple cable.

Description of DuaLink:

•    9 inches long
•    Charge and sync an iPod and iPhone with one USB port on your Mac or Windows PC
•    Contains a custom USB hub to coordinate connecting, charging and syncing
•    Charge two iPods or iPhones from a single wall or automobile USB charge adapter

•    USB 2.0 compatible
•    Works with all iPod and iPhone models except the iPod shuffle
•    Durable housing and heavy-duty wire holds up through wear and tear
•    CableJive Lifetime Warrantee

It is now available from CableJive for $26. So, what are you waiting for? Just go and save your time.

This is not as elegant as a little cube jutting out of one corner of the iPhone but it looks like the Payware Mobile phone could double as a pretty sturdy case should it drop. The backing of VeriFone means this mobile payment peripheral has some important backing and it should be able to hit the market. The VeriFone Payware Mobile iPhone is a complete solution for the iPhone. It includes PAYware Mobile app and the PAYware Mobile reader.

I think that lucky date should be January 15th of next year with free on a 2-year Payware Connect contract. Pre-orders are live on the website now for those who want to join in on the phone. Please note it that when you hand the iPhone over for someone to sign as proof of purchase then make sure you are able to outrun the chap.

Effortless Wireless

Just turn your iPhone into a secure payment device. PAYware Mobile makes it a snap. One robust app and one durable card reader is your complete payment solution.

I hope you would like to wait till January 15th, 2010.

Posted by Isha Farhad On December - 16 - 2009

BingAs we all know that there are so many search engines are present in Internet world. But you might be unaware of this that Microsoft’s search engine Bing is pretty great despite its similarities to Arby’s. Now, it is come to the App Store to invade iPods Touch and iPhones.

The app features some of the hallmarks of Bing such as the endless image search, voice control and image of the day.

Following are the key features:

1.    Easy to access voice search
2.    Daily image from Bing.com
3.    Tips and tricks on the home page
4.    Ability to add pushpins and save locations
5.    ”Locate Me” functionality
6.    Show multiple locations on a single map

This app includes similar apps that are already available for BlackBerry, Sidekick and WinMo and it is available now.

So, just try to move to this new feature and share your experience with us.

Lampard-signature-gold-ipodI believe in donating something of yours to those who needs it most than you. This is the most wonderful job in the world to help others in terms of money, food, clothes, medicine or anything. And I think some one has same thoughts as of mine. Frank Lampard, Chelsea captain has earned a reputation as the most durable players in the Premier League. But the England midfielder, apart from the football, is launching his signature Gold iPod Touch’s at London’s famous Harrods store on December 3 (Thursday) to support The Teenage Cancer Trust (TCT).

This Gold plated iPod designed by Goldgenie and organised by Ask Godders Management, is the ‘coolest IPod ever’. It is embellished in 24ct gold and the 3rd generation iPod touch is available in 32GB, 16GB or 8GB capacity and available exclusively from Micro Anvika in Harrods. The good thing is that it comes with a standard one-year guarantee.

Frank, with each unit sold, will donate 100 per cent of his royalties to the charity The Teenage Cancer Trust (TCT).

The Teenage Cancer Trust (TCT) gives specialist treatment to the thousands of young people diagnosed with cancer every year, with their top priority being to build units in NHS hospitals especially for teenagers with cancer.

Ask Godders Management, charity organizer, by keeping in view the festive season, he would expect these exceptional items to make for a wonderful gift for all football and Chelsea fans alike.

So, please do not miss the chance!!

Multi-carrier iPhone sales in Europe

Posted by Isha Farhad On November - 23 - 2009

iphone-france-towerAs you all are lovers of hot phone so the sales increase everyday. While enjoying a death grip on Apple’s cash cow, AT&T grins happily here in the States, things are more wide open for consumers across the pond. In both the UK and France, the iPhone has been given the all-clear to be sold on multiple carriers.

According to research notes issued recently, the elimination of the iPhone’s exclusivity to Orange in France has gave “more than double” the sales of the device and also dealt a blow to the BlackBerry.

It was research from Bernstein, Strategy Analytics as well as others report double as so many iPhones being shipped in the summer quarter as in the spring due to Apple’s handset being readily available at Bouygues Telecom and SFR. As customers at the new carriers had a new, major alternative to the BlackBerry line, that added exposure is thought to have directly impacted RIM.

A Morgan Stanley note claims that Apple’s influence grew 17 percent between the two seasons. Gartner believes that the selling of 600,000 iPhones in France during the quarter, makes it the single largest market for iPhones in all of Europe.

In the recent end to O2’s exclusivity in the UK, France’s precedent has potentially mirrored itself as Orange recorded breakthrough its first-day sales and it has too many expectations for the future that it may be helped by T-Mobile UK’s tentative merger with Orange. In early 2010, Vodafone UK plans to carry the iPhone and should put the majority of British cellular subscribers on a network that offers the iPhone at that point.

Canada has also ended exclusivity recently, albeit through the addition of new networks rather than legal action or contracts. AT&T’s exclusivity is expected to end in mid-2010 but has never been confirmed.

The iPhone’s expansion has canceled the RIM’s advantage over Apple in smartphones risks. By the sheer number of carriers, the latest BlackBerry sales have been helped primarily that use its devices, as many European carriers, all major North American carriers and others abroad all carry at least some of its lineup.
