Posted by Isha Farhad On May - 18 - 2010

googlechromespr03Rumours in the press were scattered regarding the launch of Chrome OS based netbooks at Computex, but now, Acer officially confirms that it will not launch a Chrome OS device at Computex or it has no short-term plans for such type of a product.

Acer believes that Google Chrome OS is without doubt an exciting product announcement and it deserves its full attention and also an in-depth study of its potential from a users perspective.

Acer is naturally interested in any service or product that scale up the complete experience of its products and will definitely be following the progress and development of Google Chrome and the evolution of Google’s overall product strategy very closely.
