I remember the day when Mini 210 was mentioned in HP’s leak from a few months ago. Today, it brings a lot of details and exclusive photos. The new netbook will be the Pine Trail-powered replacement for HP’s existing Mini 110 andwill be powered by Intel’s new PineTrail platform.
For Intel’s updated Atom platform, PineTrail is the codename and will bring power consumption improvements, although performance is expected to stay largely the same.
The new HP Mini 210 netbooks also include the following features:
• 1GB of RAM
• 160 to 250GB hard drive with Windows 7 Starter Edition pre-installed
• A 3-cell or 6-cell battery
• Card reader
• A chicklet keyboard
• Integrated web camera and microphone
• 802.11b/g or b/g/n WiFi
• A 5-in-1 media card reader
The HP Mini 210 starts at $321 at eCost.com where eCost.com has listed nine HP Mini 210 10.1-inch netbook models. You also have a choice of four different system colors like: matte black with pattern, matte silver with pattern, sonoma red, solid black and pacific blue. They will post up when the 210 goes on sale at HP.com and also share any coupon codes HP makes available.
