My friend had seen a ThinkPad X201 Tablet which is going to turn up in a Lenovo roadmap earlier this week. It is called the Lenovo ThinkPad X201T that has now also surfaced at the FCC, Australia.
While the FCC is not disclosing out any details beyond the usual test reports, the convertible tablet has already turned up at TechBuy, Australian retailer, which just so happens to have the full and complete specs for the device.
Those include:
• A 12.1-inch WXGA touchscreen
• 4GB of RAM
• A Core i7-620LM processor
• A 320GB hard drive
• A fingerprint scanner
• An 8-cell battery
I think this 12-inch and Core i7-based convertible ThinkPad should turn a few heads. No words about its release but TechBuy is taking orders right now for the local equivalent of $3,230.
