Nintendo DSi with 4-inch screens coming to Japan in 2009

The Nintendo DSi is just about to round its first Japanese anniversary on November 1st in its current form. Nikkei has only one thing to say about it is that the two- screener is all set for an oncoming growth spurt.

From the publication, according to a source who has an excellent record on Nintendo reports thus far, he said a new Nintendo DSi with larger screens is coming this year before its end. The report claims that no other differences, this was in response to older gamers that are having trouble seeing the action. It will definitely replace the current model and will retail for the same price, ¥18,900 or US $205.50.

With few aesthetic changes made, most of the DS Lite’s attributes are retained as compared to the first two iterations. It has a major feature of the Nintendo DSi is that it has two interactive digital cameras, both can be incorporated into gameplay and can be used like a standalone camera feature. The Nintendo DSi also includes connectivity with an online store and as external and internal storage of content.
