The Samsung Behold II has just confirmed about 18th November launch on T-Mobile but still no details on price but I guess its price would be $200. This slate-style touch screen handset has a 3.2-inch AMOLED display. It is too good to use with a hearty skinning job on the part of Samsung and porting in most of its TouchWiz UI. Underneath is Android 1.5 and what seems to be a standard processor.
There is really nothing to complain about this phone in Hardware-wise. This phone is heavy, relatively thin with wonderfully tactile face buttons and solid materials. Its screen is everything though high-resolution phones such as the Droid dampen. A “real” camera button on the side is one great Samsung addition to the traditional Android experience that can even register half-presses for focus.
So, if you don’t want a physical keyboard, don’t want your handset to feel like a toy then there is plenty to love. But, I am more concerned about the software side of things.
So, let’s wait till November 18th.
