Yesterday, I came to know that Gulfstream Aerospace has tied up with Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) and has come with a new business aircraft G250 to witness those mega deals between top bureaucrats which break or make the destiny of a nation.
G250 is a super midsize business jet with 16 to 36 percent more floor area than any other jet in this category and in October 2008, it was announced at the National Business Aviation Association convention and was developed in partnership with Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI). In 2011, scheduled is to be launched.
At maximum operating speed of 0.85 Mach, the mid-range aircraft Gulfstream G250 can travel 3,400 nautical miles, and has an initial cruise altitude of 41,000 feet and to a maximum altitude of 45,000 feet, it is capable of climbing. It includes the features like it has the largest cabin in its class, an improved galley, a larger lavatory extra interior space to ensure comfort to the passengers.
The G250 has 19 windows, in-flight access to 120 cubic feet of usable volume in the baggage compartment and sound levels together with a vacuum toilet system. It combines state-of-the-art engineering with cutting-edge design for $24 million to $28 million which depends on the internal accessories.
David Dagan, IAI Commercial Aircraft Group corporate Vice President and General Manager said that the collaboration between the manufacturing as well as design teams, using the integrated-product-teams approach, made one and one equal more than two.
