Today, all have become very health conscious. In busy world, busy schedule people manage to get time for their health. Like they believe in jogging, walking, jumping, running etc. to keep their body fit, to remove their stress, to avoid diseases and to remain mentally fit also.
Some people choose some exercise machine to keep them mentally as well as physically fit as they don’t want to go outside or they are big celebrity or very rich people. So, most of the people usually goes with a Treadmill. Now! If you don’t know what is Treadmill? or what is the use of it? or is there any disadvantages also from it? then let me explain you. A treadmill is an exercise machine for walking or running if you are staying in one place. With a wide Conveyor belt and a flywheel or an electric motor, the machine provides a moving platform. It consists of a belt that moves to the rear allow you to walk or run an equal and necessarily opposite, velocity. The rate of running or walking is equivalent to the rate at which the belt moves. Motor-driven are more expensive and heavy-duty versions. The lighter, simpler and less expensive versions passively resist the motion that moves only when the walker pushes the belt with their feet.
Advantages of using Treadmill:
• It enables exact calculation and adjustment of slope as well as speed.
• Treadmill training can improve endurance and also provide a wide variety of health benefits. Treadmill’s exercises can reduce the strain to the knees, ankles and lower back.
• It offers the advantages of reduced impact.
• People who would not walk/ run outdoors may use an indoor treadmill.
• You can do other things also while doing exercises on Treadmills like reading or watching television.
• Some treadmills have special features like step count, number of calories expended or heart rate monitors.
Disadvantages of using Treadmill :
• It may cause personal injury if not used properly.
• It may be very costly by purchasing and using electricity to run the treadmill.
• Training for outdoor races is complicated due to the subtle differences.
So, there is not only benefits for you but also has drawbacks of using it. So, I request you to be careful and choosy to do exercises.
