Japan-based Hysteric Glamour began dishing out a string of combination with the late Andy Warhol’s The Andy Warhol Foundation in 2006 that bringing his creative inspiration back to life. A duration of one week will start from this coming Wednesday, Japanese label, Hysteric Glamour, will be hosting a pop-up shop which features the collaborative items between Andy Warhol Foundation and the label for Visual Arts.
In Isetan Shinjuku, the Andy Warhol By Hysteric Glamour pop-up shop will be housed. Hysteric Glamor had also partnered up with Globe Trotter, British luxury luggage maker, for this joyous retail occasion to produce special suitcases that features a black leather upper, a full silver skull collage on the inner fabric, classic vintage trunks in three distinct sizes in clean black, paired with white and black Warhol prints as the lining of these trunks and an Andy Warhol signature.
The collection of these suitcases will retail from between $1,470 to $2,310. On September 16th, 2009 the collection will be released. Albeit the slightly steep price, rolling art on wheels in style will definitely make these collector’s items.
