This is the time when the builders are more focused on survival and the housing industry is hurting so I think it will be a senseless to talk about a $ 1billion mega structure at this time. But a model of the great design for the new U.S. Embassy for London is a special case and it is sure going to receive considerable worldwide attention, both for the overall spending on the project and for the exceptional design.
The embassy concept is designed by the Philadelphia-based firm KieranTimberlake and is proposed to be constructed in 500,000 square feet that features lofted halls and beaming ‘light art’ along with
carbon-neutral, energy-efficient, self-sufficient work of art in an urban park setup complete with ponds as well as pleasant sculptures.
The new U.S. Embassy that appears more like a crystal fortress would be the most expensive embassy ever built, overshadowing the $850 million embassy projected for Pakistan and $700 million sprawling compound in Iraq.
So, just get ready to see the new embassy somewhere between 2013 and 2017.
